On May 4, the Jerome City Council voted to name its newest city park Modern Woodmen Park. The unanimous vote recognized the significant contribution of volunteer hours and resources to the city’s parks made by Modern Woodmen of America and its local members. The park, which is currently under development, is located immediately north of the railroad tracks on Lincoln Avenue, at the Marshall Well area. When completed, the park will have more than an acre of grass, benches, a gazebo and several pieces of playground equipment.
